Monochrom Saturday. Day 42

Today was probably the first time I have not edited my images at all. I remember times when I praised different lenses for being cheap and achieving great results. I own a couple of great Zeiss lenses, and now I have a $75 135mm Canon LTM. I posted couple days ago how great the lens is. The truth was - I always increased clarity on most of the images and then increased the level of shadows to achieve an effect I could not explain with words. I guess you can call it micro contrast. Today I got to play with my new 90mm Elmarit. To my surprise, that thing that I did in Lightroom wasn't needed for any of the shots. I was blown away by what kind of images the lens produced. Maybe it was a day with perfect light or some other variables that I didn't account for, but I'm truly impressed with that lens. On Monday I will go for lunch and go through the usual places a go through everyday and see what I end up with. I will get a chance to compare to 40 days worth of photographs I shot previously there.
