On Saturday, thanks to my wife Camilla, I took a great picture (bottom of this post), which shifted my sense of composition a little bit. I still embrace symmetry, but there is something more emotional when a composition is shifted and unbalanced and when perspective tells you one truth while reality and common sense tells you absolutely different story. The example below illustrates this point precisely.
